My dear friend, colleague and one time mentor, Cord Weston had passed away.
We hadn't talked for a couple of years, however, in that time I thought of you many times, reminding myself to call you soon to catch up.
We always seem to think that we have enough time; that we will get the opportunity to tell those near and dear to us how much we love them and what they mean to us. We don't.
At some point when the news has sunk in I'll raise a glass to your memory and remember all of the good times we had. All of your shenanigans, your love of 80s music, bad dad dancing, and of course Portsmouth FC.
Rest in peace, sweetie. Xxx
